Senior Vice President - Marketing

As senior vice president for marketing for Caesars Entertainment, Inc., Steve Rosen is responsible for company-wide advertising, brand development, Internet and general marketing initiatives, the Connection Card customer loyalty program and consumer data warehouse. Rosen also oversees the Caesars Entertainment retail division, which includes more than 90 owned-and-operated stores, located at the company's U.S. resorts and at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

Rosen has filled positions of increasing responsibility with the company since it was created as Park Place Entertainment Corporation in December 1998.  His career includes extensive experience in all the company’s major regions, delivering strong results for its family of brands: Bally’s, Caesars, Flamingo, Grand Casinos, Hilton and Paris. He was promoted to lead company-wide marketing initiatives in July 2003. Before joining the Caesars corporate organization, Rosen was executive vice president of marketing for the Mid-South Region, where the company has six destination casino resorts.

Earlier, Rosen played an important role in the development of Grand Casinos, Inc., which he joined in 1996 as senior vice president of corporate marketing. During his tenure with Grand, the company’s three Mississippi resorts grew to have the No. 1 market share in the state’s two biggest gaming regions - Tunica County and the Gulf Coast. He previously served as vice president of marketing for Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, and senior vice president of marketing for Harrah’s Casino Hotel in Atlantic City.

Rosen has served as a commissioner for the Harrison County (Mississippi) Tourism Commission, an executive board member for the Mississippi Gulf Coast Gaming Association and a member of the advisory board for the Mississippi State Division of Tourism. Previously, he was a board member for the Greater Atlantic City Chamber of Commerce, an advisory board member for the Atlantic City Visitors and Convention Bureau and the events committee chairman for the Casino Association of New Jersey.

Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Rosen was graduated from the State University of New York at Cortland, with a Bachelor of Science degree. He lives in Las Vegas.
