The house is also close to the medieval towns of Moncontour and Dinan with numerous restaurants (seafood is a speciality) fetes and music festivals in summer. The Chateau de Hunadaye and Fort La Latte (location of filming of the Vikings with Kirk Douglas) are well worth a visit. Beautiful sandy beaches are just 25 minutes away - Le Val Andre, Sable d'Or and St Pabu are specially recommended.
