After more than two years of design, planning and development, Ross Reels is pleased to announce the introduction of Ross Worldwide. The Worldwide products will focus on the entry-level consumer and will not compete with products manufactured in Ross Reels' Montrose, Colorado facility. Ross has partnered with a manufacturer in the United Kingdom to produce these high quality products. All Worldwide products will be produced in the United Kingdom, but are designed by Ross engineers in the USA.

Worldwide products are cast aluminum and powder coated. Although Worldwide products will be of the highest quality, they will not compare to the fully machined, fully anodized reels Ross continues to manufacture in the United States.

The first series to be released through the Worldwide division is the Flywater. The Flywater series is based on the successful design of the Ross Cimarron and Gunnison reels. It has a full disc drag system and two plungers for disc drag engagement. The series is cast aluminum and powder coated for protection against the elements. The Flywater is fully ventilated, weighing considerably less than other competitive products.

The Flywater series is built with the same commitment to quality and performance as our USA manufactured products, but available at a considerably reduced price. Ross is excited about the possibilities with the Worldwide division but will keep their main focus on the development and support of the USA branded products.
