Tony Santo serves as senior vice president of the Western and Mid-South Regions for Caesars Entertainment, Inc., overseeing operations of a dozen casino resorts in Nevada, Mississippi, Indiana and Louisiana.

A 22-year veteran of the gaming industry, Santo has extensive experience in all aspects of the casino resort business. He previously served as president of Paris Las Vegas, Bally's Las Vegas, the Flamingo Las Vegas, the Reno Hilton and the Flamingo Reno.  He began his career at the Las Vegas Hilton in 1981.

In his current role, Santo has overall responsibility for Paris Las Vegas, Bally's Las Vegas, Flamingo Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Hilton, the Reno Hilton, Flamingo Laughlin, Grand Casino Tunica, Grand Casino Biloxi, Grand Casino Gulfport, the Sheraton Tunica, Bally's Tunica and Bally's New Orleans.  Santo also is charged with coordinating Western and Mid-South regional initiatives with the Caesars-brand properties, which report to Barr.  In addition, Santo is responsible for representing the company’s interests in LasVegas.com, an online joint venture with Mandalay Resort Group.

Santo is a member of the board of directors of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority, the agency responsible for the international promotion of Las Vegas as a travel and tourism destination. He serves on the board of trustees for Las Vegas Events, which produces and presents premier entertainment and sports attractions designed to drive tourism in the region. Santo also is a member of the board of directors for the Culinary Workers Union Training Academy of Las Vegas, which provides job training for persons who seek employment opportunities in the city’s hospitality and restaurant industries.

Santo was graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration.  Now, one of the industry’s most distinguished executives, in 1998, he was named Hotelier of the Year by the Nevada Hotel & Lodging Association.  He currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the UNLV Harrah Hotel College Alumni Association and was named that organization’s 2003 Alumnus of the Year.

Santo lives in Las Vegas with his wife Michelle and their three sons.
