World Environment Day, 5 June 2004
By Ondine Evans How do we want to treat the Earth's seas and oceans? What can we do to keep them healthy and alive? This is the key focus of the World Environment Day theme for 2004: ‘Wanted! Seas and Oceans – Dead or Alive?’ The Australian Museum will be running programs on World Environment Day itself, and for the month of June, highlighting the environment and how we can help. Across Australia, community and environmental groups will also be holding activities to celebrate World Environment Day. Contact your local organisations or watch your local media for details of what's on in your area. Related links
