"GUERCINO.
POESIA E SENTIMENTO NELLA PITTURA DEL '600"
Stazione Termini, Ala Mazzoniana,
Sir
Denis Mahon is the curator, with Vittorio Sgarbi and Massimo Pullini,
of the beautiful exhibition opened at the Ala Mazzoniana, into
the Stazione Termini of Rome. This event comes from the Palazzo
Reale in Milan, where the Italian painter Guercino has had an
exceptional success and that is very different from the artistic
critic of 1930; in fact, the critics of art were very sceptical
towards the paintings of Guercino, new, however, this artist is
loved for her artistic qualities and for her versatility. There
are two moments of the artistic life of Guercino: the first step
is her studies in Bologna, near the Caracci's school with a painting
links to the orthodoxy rules of the Counter-Reformation; the second
phase(1621-1623) is a moment links to: the magnificence and the
traditions of Rome, the baroque court of the Pope in which Guercino
changes the colours of her works.

"TATSUO
MIYAJIMA SARAH CIRACI' KENDELL GEERS"
MACRO,
Roma
The
MACRO opens the summery season with three exhibitions curated
by important figures of the contemporary culture: Achille Bonito
Oliva for the exhibition of Tatsuo Miyajima, Katerina Gregos for
Sarah Cirać and Nicolas Bourriaud for Kendell Geers. The first
exhibition, Arte nel Tempo, is of the Japanese artist Tatsuo Miyajima
(Tokyo, 1957), who proposes, into the Sale MACRO, four works:
Counter Line - Horizon Blue, Floating Time in the Space, Changing
Time With Changing Self e Counter Voice in Wine. The artist chooses
to play with refined elements of technology: LED and IC (electric
circuits). The first installation of Miyajima is into a lift and
in the other rooms there are special effects with glasses, projections,
lights, reflections, so the spectator has a strong involving of
the all senses. Into the Sale Panorama, there is the young Sarah
Cirać(Taranto, 1972), with the project Oh my God is full of stars,
for the which also the Italian artist uses a series of complicated
media as the projections-video, recalling 2001: Odyssey in the
space; this installation reflects the artistic work of Cirać
in the dream and in the science fiction. The last exhbition is
of Kendell Geers (Johannesburg,1968), who, for the MACRO, has
made a new project: The Forest of Suicides, that is a real forest

after the travel around Tunisia; at the end, the adventure of
