Head of Retail, Vertical Markets Group

This is a national position that could be based in Chicago, IL, Mountain View, CA or New York, NY.

Sales Compliance and Policies Specialist (Temporary)

This is a temporary position based in Mountain View, CA.

We have an immediate need for someone who is able to partner with our national advertising sales staff and support groups in order to facilitate the sales process and streamline information throughout the company. This person should be extremely proactive, organized, responsible, and should work well within a group.

Responsibilities:

  • Deal Compliance:
    • Assist in deal compliance through established approvals processes.
    • Ensure set turn around times are met for all deal approvals.
    • Work closely with the Sales, Vertical Markets and Support teams to ensure proper parameters are set for deal approvals.
  • Process and Policy:
    • Assist in establishing policies, procedures, processes, and standards across the advertising sales organization.
    • Analyze gaps in business processes and formulate solutions, both long-term and short-term.
    • Assist in the communication of all process and policy changes and assist with user training as needed.
    • Define business requirements, coordinate resources, monitor timelines, perform analysis and project planning.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS.
  • 7+ years related experience in both online and offline advertising sales support (operations, business refinement and internal auditing experience preferred).
  • Must be a self-starter that thrives in a multi-tasking, fast-paced and results-oriented environment.
  • Must have the capacity to manage a heavy workflow.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven applications experience (especially Excel).
