It is a 15 minute drive from Bella Coola (16 km/10 miles). Pacific Coastal Airlines offers flights to Vancouver, Anahim Lake, Bella Bella and Port Hardy. Charter flights are available to all points on the Central Coast, Interior and anywhere in North America. They fly year-round depending on weather conditions. Private and company planes/helicopters can also land at the airport. Normal air regulations and Air Navigational orders are observed. The maximum size planes that can land at the airport are: DHC-7, HS-748, Convair 580 and Convair 640. The Airport also offers an Atmospheric Environment Service office / Weather Information.
