November is Runaway Prevention Month

Partners & Volunteers
As a teenager myself, I find volunteering at the National Runaway Switchboard to be not only extremely fulfilling, but a great way to help and identify with my peers.
Celeste, Teen crisis line volunteer

By distributing posters and other materials in my community, I know I'm helping someone else get help.
Mary, Community volunteer
It's rare to have the opportunity to help someone begin to heal his/ her life. I love witnessing a youth make a choice appropriate for him/ her. And the folks in the phone room are great, supportive, knowledgeable, friendly and fun.
Terry, Crisis line volunteer

As a volunteer at the National Runaway Switchboard I get to meet so many different people and have found a great place to contribute some of my time.
Susan, Board member
My brother ran away and I know how hard it was for my family. Now I help sponsor programs at school and pass out information about the National Runaway Switchboard.
Andrew, Student Council President
