A Heavy Duty Hydraulic Shop or Garage Press

Here is a press with a simple design that will withstand the rigors of continued use.  This is not a wimpy Chinese mail order press.  This one is designed to take the full force without complaining.  Best of all ... You can do it yourself !
Hydraulic Shop Press

4 Post Press

The 4 spindle press is especially heavy duty and designed to help maintain perpendicularity and/or parallelism during pressing operations.  The 4 spindles are independently and infinitely adjustable to meet a wide variety of size requirements and to exactly locate the upper press reaction beam.

Design options include press capacities of 20 tons, 30 tons and a full 50 tons - that's 100,000 lbs force!  There are also options for the height - allowing the user to choose the height capacity.

The anvil is attached directly to the hydraulic jack for direct force application, and any number of anvil variations or attachments can be made to meet whatever press requirement you may have.

Construction : Steel cutting and drilling required.

Load Capacity : Depending on options, from 20 tons to 50 tons*

Order Plans

Plans include easy to follow, fully illustrated instructions and engineering options for 20, 30 and 50 ton applications.  See plans sample pages.

* Load capacity is for the outer sections of the press in a static, vertical load application.  The press strength is highly dependent on materials used, construction techniques, assembly methods and proper load application.  Load capacity does not include capacities for purchased parts such as the hydraulic prime mover.  Always use extreme Caution and proper safety equipment when pressing.
