1. What is Link Market?
Link Market is a place where webmasters can find other webmasters to exchange links. A webmaster is a person who can edit the content of an Internet site. In our directory there are only sites listed who WANTS to trade links. Also we will contact them for you and we will email you back where your link was placed. Link Market is free, easy to use and very effective!

2. Do I have to be a webmaster to use Link Market?
Yes you do, you must be able to add new links to your site so that link exchange can take place. If you represent a company that has a web site but you are not the webmaster, contact her or him and explain to them about Link Market, so that your company can get started with trading links.

3. Why is it good to trade links?
The main reason is to drive traffic to your site. Used right, link trading can increase your number of visitors by the thousands. There are three main effects of having a lot of links out on the Internet pointing to your site.
1. People will see the link to your site and click on it while browsing through your link partner’s web sites.

2.
Search engines will rank your site higher if you have high link popularity. Which means your site will show up on top and not on the bottom of the search results.

3.
Many search engines use what is called "Spiders" to crawl the internet and index new and updated old web site. If your site does not exist in the google.com; for example that means that google.com they have not indexed your site yet. The "Spiders" will more easily and more often crawl your web site if a link to it is placed all over the Internet. Your site will be listed quicker and it will be revisited more often.

4. Do I have to put up a link to Link Market on my site?
We will place your link on our site and it is only the fare thing to do. Plus it will help both of us if more webmasterse join Link Market.

5. Do I have to link back to everybody that links to me?
No, you have the right to decide which web site you want to link to and which ones you don't want.

6. I have activated my account what do I have to do now?
We always try to process new applications within 48 hrs. If it takes longer than that; and you do not hear from us, it can be one of several reasons. Your web site does not qualify for the LinkMarket.Net directory due to:

1. Inappropriate material published (adult, illegal, and unmoral sites are some of them. We choose completely at our own discretion who may, and may not, be accepted as a Link Market Member).

2. Your web site does not have Link Page
Link page is the page that is accessible from your site by browsing through it, and it has mostly nothing but links on it.

3. It may be because of high volume of new users, in which case we will notify you as soon as possible.

7. I got an account with Link Market what now?
Login and start exchanging links. You can exchange links by selecting the site you wish to exchange links with and then on the bottom of the page clicking on the Exchange Links button. The webmasters of those web sites have now received emails from us telling them you want to exchange links and also the Title, URL and Description of your web site. If they think your web site qualifies for a link-trade, they will add a link to your web site on their web site and will send you an email with the Title, URL and Description of their web site, as well as the location of the new link pointing to your site. You will then inspect the link pointing to your web site. If you accept the way it is placed you need to add a link pointing to their web site on one of your link page. At this time the link exchange is complete.

8. How do I edit my account information?
Login to access you account, then click on the "Edit Your Link" on the top right side of the page. Here you can edit your account information. After you submit your edited account information your link will be temporary removed from the directory. However, you can still continue to exchange links with other users. We will place your link back into the LinkMarket.net directory as soon as we validate your link integrity and quality (usually within 24h).

9. What is Link Market's link information?

10. Sponsored Listings what are they and how can they benefit me?
Sponsored Listings are paid listings; the cost is 6.45 USD per month. SL (sponsored listings) are located on the top of every Link Exchange Directory sub-page right after the subcategories and on top LM Search™ (if any SL Links information matches search terms).

Q. How does it work?
A. The links in the Link Exchange Directory are randomly selected and rotated from the pool of subscribers. This is most effective way for every member of the SL to will receive maximum amount of expressions and targeted traffic. In the LM Search™ the links are shown only if they mach search terms. See Example Below:

Example of Sponsored Listings in Link Exchange Directory

Q. Do they work?
A. Our statistical analysis have show that if your link is placed in the SL your link will receive on average 10 times more hits and more link requests from our visitors then if you have placed your link in any other category. Reach people when they are actively looking for information about your products and services on Link Market, and send targeted visitors directly to what you are offering.

Apply Online: If you would like for your link to be included in a Sponsored Listings and help Link Market grow please login to your account and access Account Information. On the Account Information page you will see link to Join Sponsored Listings. Your subscription will be activated as soon as PayPal.com verifies your payment.

11. Partners & Affiliates Section what is and how can I become part of?
Listings in Partners & Affiliates section used to contain paid listings. We do not offer this service anymore. The links that are in the section will be removed once their subscription expires.

12. How come some links are not in the directory once I login?
Each member can set their link exchange permissions once they log in. They can pick and choose which category they want to exchange links with. If your link dose not belongs to the category that they are interested in exchanging links you are not going to be able to see their link once you login. This way they can only receive link exchange request from the webmasters they want to exchange links with.

13. Link Exchange Permissions what are they and how can they benefit me?

Link exchange permissions are advance options of Link Market’s services. By using link exchange permissions a member of Link Market's website can limit which link request can be sent to him or her. This way a member will receive link exchange request only from the websites that are relevant to the site that particular webmaster is maintaining.
