Texas Motorplex, the NHRA-sanctioned drag strip just south of Dallas, has begun major renovations and upgrades to its tower suites and hard surface parking areas. The suite redesign includes adding starting line balcony seating to all luxury suites in the three-story complex as well as interior layout upgrades. Constructed in 1986 as the first super-track in drag racing, Texas Motorplex will be one of a handful of facilities with balcony seating and the only one in the world with balcony seating at the starting line. "Our goal with the re-design is to offer our suite holders a totally unique experience when they come to our facility," said Arthur O&#039Bright Texas Motorplex General Manager. "The balconies will offer our guests the opportunity to experience the outdoor excitement of our sport as well the indoor social benefits of the suite. The balconies will also offer our suite holders a more positive experience at concerts and non-sporting events."
