Online booking |
In order to provide the client with the best choice of policies,
Online Travel Cover needs to have a thorough understanding of the client’s
requirements. Clients are asked a number of pertinent questions which
helps to identify a selection of policies which may be suitable for their
needs. Each of the suitable policies displayed can be selected to view
the full levels of coverage. Once a policy has been selected the clients
are required to answer a number of medical questions and agree to having
read the important points relating to you insurance.
Once accepted, the purchase is placed in a shopping cart. Further products can be added and amendments made prior to moving to the secure online payment area. Once passed to Worldpay, the client’s credit card details are
taken in a secure environment. Upon successful completion, the client
is issued with an html email with an overview of their policy including
the levels of coverage and a separate email receipt from Worldpay. Full
printed copies of the policy documents and wordings will be dispatched
in the post within three working days. All correspondence will be conducted
in English. |

Pricing policy |
All Online Travel Cover's policies are clearly priced in pounds sterling. All prices include Insurance Premium Tax at 17.5%, plus postage and delivery of your policy certificate. |

Methods of payment |
The Online Travel Group accepts the following debit and credit cards using WorldPay. MasterCard, Visa, Switch, Solo, JCB, and American Express. Online Travel Group Ltd do not store any of your credit card details. WorldPay, who process the transaction in a secure environment and Barclays Bank, who are our bank-acquired partners, will only retain your credit card details for the purposes of the transaction. We can accept cheque and credit card payment by phone. |

Complaints / Refunds |
The Online Travel Group endeavours to provide you with the
highest level of service. If you have a query or the level of service
or product fails to meet your expectations then please refer to our customer
services department. If you wish to write to discuss any matters relating

Should you wish to enquire about deliveries, obtain a refund or wish to arrange for a return and/or exchange of any items purchased through WorldPay, contact should be made in the first instance with Online Travel Group Ltd. In the event that further information is needed, please email WorldPay Customer Services at shopperhelp@worldpay.com , providing full details of your purchase and the nature of your enquiry. In the event of a dispute the Online Travel Group is regulated by the GISC (General Insurance Standards Council). GISC regulates the sales, advice and service standards of its members. They do not regulate the price charged for a policy. Their objective is to establish, monitor and enforce standards in all areas of general insurance activities, including: • All matters relevant to the fair treatment of customers • Financial requirements for intermediaries • Procedures for the handling of complaints and the availability of redress • Competence and training • Members' obligations to individuals buying insurance for themselves and their families are explained fully in the GISC Private Customer Code, while the GISC Commercial Code explains members' obligations in relation to businesses buying insurance. Online Travel Cover is only intended for use by residents or businesses of the member states of the EU. Unless agreed specifically to the contrary all contracts are subject to the Law of England and Wales. |

Online Travel Group Ltd are committed to protecting your privacy. Online Travel Group Ltd will only use the information collected lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). Online Travel Group also comply with the Electronic Commerce (EC Directive) Regulations 2002 (SI 2002 No.2013) Any credit card information you supply via our online purchase process is only held on our systems for the duration of completing your purchase and is encrypted to ensure only those authorised to access it can do so. The Consumer Credit Act (1974) also applies to transactions over the Internet. The Act limits your maximum liability on your credit card to £50, in the event of its fraudulent use. All liability ceases completely once the credit card issuer has been notified of any loss or fraudulent use. Online Travel Cover collect information about you for two reasons: firstly, to process your order and second, to provide you with the best possible service. The personal information which Online Travel Cover hold will be held securely in accordance with our internal security policy and the law. The information Online Travel Cover hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that Online Travel Cover hold about you by contacting us. If you find any inaccuracies Online Travel Cover will delete or correct it promptly. Online Travel Cover may use technology to track the patterns of behaviour of visitors to our site. This can include using a "cookie" which would be stored within your browsers' cache. You can usually modify your browser to prevent this happening. The information that you supply to Online Travel Cover will be used by us, our partner sites and technology partners to provide you with related quotations, products and services. You agree that Online Travel Cover may hold this information, which may include sensitive data as defined under the Data Protection Act 1998. Credit card payments are handled by WorldPay, our affiliated partner. WorldPay is the first bank endorsed secure Internet system and an accredited partner of the Online Travel Group. WorldPay offers real time transaction over the Internet using Thawte 2048 encryption systems. WorldPay is so secure that Online Travel Group never get to see you credit card number - all credit card details are encrypted and secured by WorldPay for your personal protection. The WorldPay guarantee protects you against third party fraud allowing you to trade online in confidence. All clients transacting business with us will be deemed to have accepted these terms of business. We reserve the right to amend our Terms of Business.
