Piper McKenzie Presents The Tinklepack Patrol in The Curse of Count Morpheus is a new play written and directed by Jeffrey Alexander Lewonczyk. This description comes from the press release:

"The story is thus: When Pappy begs Mammy one freezing cold night to get out of bed and fetch him a glass of warm milk, it sets into action the moving panels of a comic strip in human form, a series of intertwining dream-narratives about Mammy and Pappy's younger selves than encompass true crime, True Love, dancing girls, and a magical Abraham Lincoln--a surreal delight for geeks and aesthetes of all ages! Inspired by Scott McCloud's seminal aesthetic text Understanding Comics, and a raft of old comic books and comic strips from Little Nemo in Slumberland and Li'l Abner to Buck Rogers and EC's Weird Science."
