My ancestor, Robert Roebuck, came from Darton Parish, Staincross, West Riding of Yorkshire, England, to Maryland in 1674 and settled in Northumberland County, Virginia. This is a wonderful site with lots of info!

I have an 1867 archiectural drawingand written details of ELMLEY LODGE located on the promenade. It was sold by auction by COOKS& Southorn. The date of the auction was thursday, November 7th, 1867 at Regent Hotel, Leamington at 4 oclock in the afternoon.It offers a pretty complete discription of al the rooms.
The location of the lodge is at the corner of Brandon Parade st. and Wood st.I have the architectural drawings of Elmley lodge. Please let me know if you have heard of this lodge. C.M. Morgan
