Come and share our slice of paradise in the peace and tranquility of Wairata. Our lodge and beautiful garden, with a little stream gurgling and cascading through it, is situated on top of a hill overlooking bush clad hills. The Waioeka River flows below.
Our 2000 hectare sheep, cattle, deer and goat farm is surrounded by native bush full of indigenous wildlife and the song of the native birds. Tui and bell birds will join us in welcoming you.

Whatever you are seeking to enjoy we can provide:
Fishing - The Waioeka River flows through the heart of the farm and is an anglers playground with naturally stocked rainbow and brown trout. We can also organise deep sea fishing. If you would like more excitement you can even be lowered down in a sharks cage to experience snorkling with the sharks!
Tramping - Through some of the most untouched, spectacularly beautiful stretches of native forest left in the North Island.
Adventure - Guided pig hunting, deer stalking, kayaking, rafting, horse riding, bird watching, 4 wheel drive excursions, mountain bike trails, night excursions to view glow-worms, opossums and eels.

Costs
Kayaking - (no guide, no transport) $15.00 an hour, $20.00 a half day, $35.00 a full day per person
Guided Kayaking - (minimum of 2 people) $50.00 per person for 2hr trip.
Guided Rafting - (minimum of 4 people) $50.00 per person for 2hr trip.
Guided trout fishing, pig hunting and deer stalking $250.00 per person per day
Farm excursions and night activities eg glow worms, viewing opossums, eeling $30.00
