Golden Trevally

Identification:
Golden upper body and sides, with faint black bars.
Lower body silver. Green to yellow tail and fins.
Sloping head and keel at junction of body and tail.
Temperature range:
21 - 30 Celsius (70 - 86 Fahrenheit).
Typical location:
In deep lagoons and seaward reefs.
Fishing methods:
Trolling lures, minnows, spoons or poppers.
Baitfishing with live or dead fish.
Casting poppers.
Fighting characteristics:
A pretty, but tough and dodgy fighter, that heads for submerged structures.
