Vertical Markets Manager, Syndication

Position available in Mountain View, CA.

Reporting to the Head of Vertical Markets for syndication, this person will assist with partnership and revenue development. Responsibilities include market assessment and category sales strategy; development of sales tools; and working closely with syndication sales teams to form partnerships across multiple vertical categories. The Vertical Markets Manager will operate in a sales capacity and must possess the requisite communication/presentation skills, as well as strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospective partners; qualify, grow, and maintain category account prospect list.
  • Effectively present Google syndication opportunity; secure face-to-face meetings.
  • Aggregate category specific market research.
  • Perform vertical analysis, and help develop vertical strategies.
  • Create vertical sales presentations.
  • Develop industry-specific expert knowledge based on research and client feedback.
  • Work effectively with Head of Verticals and Strategic Partner Development managers to drive sales and maximize revenue in each Vertical.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in Business or Engineering.
  • MBA highly preferred but not required.
  • 6+ years of experience with 2-4 years related experience in an Internet media company and 2-4 years sales or sales support experience, or 2-4 years of strategic consulting experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with major business applications (Excel and PowerPoint).

Partner Manager, Domain Park

Position available in Mountain View, CA.

Google's rapidly growing Web Search and Syndication division is looking for a Partner Manager who will be responsible for building and maintaining existing strategic relationships with our Domain Park partners. You will be in charge of managing partner relationship activities after contract signing and representing Google's brand and interests to the partner. Responsibilities include forecasting and reporting revenue and other key metrics, tracking actual progress toward forecasts, driving new business opportunities, and ensuring prompt and proper resolution of business issues with the partner. We are seeking a proactive and organized individual with relevant experience to join our growing team.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 6 years previous work experience including 4 years of related program or partner management experience in an Internet ASP or Search company.
  • Excellent analytical skills regarding contractual, technical and financial issues with partners.
  • Strong partner management experience including solid history of revenue building successes.
  • Project management experience and ability to handle multiple time-sensitive projects.

Sales Operations Specialist

This position will be based in Mountain View, CA.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing sales pipelines including tracking of sales progress per qualified account, key selling issues and metrics.
