Name That Fly Contest

An integral part of American Angler's new cover design is the fly that appears inside the loop of our logo, and the fly pattern will change with every issue. This got us thinking: Wouldn't it be fun to use the "cover fly" as part of a contest to test our readers' knowledge of fly patterns? If you can correctly identify the name of the pattern, you will be eligible to win some great prizes. Here's how the contest works:

If you think you know the name of the fly, submit your answer here. One winner will be chosen from among the correct entries. You've got one month after an issue is published to make your entry. Then we'll post the correct answer, the name of the winner and their prize on this Web site. The "FYI" section of American Angler will include the correct name and a short history of the previous issue's fly, as well as the name of the contest winner. Good luck!
