Being a not-for-profit organisation, Solent TV actively encourages local community groups to put forward programming ideas and use our expertise to turn these ideas into television programmes that will give the groups concerned a media platform that until now has not been provided by any other local media service on the Isle of Wight

The Community Pinboard

The Community Pinboard aims to serve the community through a text based service, allowing charities and not-for-profit organisations a free forum to advertise or notify members of the community about forthcoming activities or requests for help.

Age Concern

Shanklin Group urgently need drivers for it's minibus and a safe parking space for it. Also people to serve tea and coffee at the Day Centre. Call 868141. Need two or three volunteers for it's new breakfast service. Preparing and serving everything from toast to a full English breakfast seven days a week 8am - 9.30am. I.W. Homestart
