Hi…what to say? A very informative site…
Well…in a GUEST book the guest should be kind…or not to sign…this is my opinion.
Always have respect of the other, if you want him to respect you.

Great site. I am doing a research paper on Stonehenge and Avebury. I need photos, the usual information, and your site is great.

Another nice website about middle-age England and English Culture (the English way of life). Our England is a lovely nation.

Before I begin, I would like to say to 'Lee French' that I doubt that he was the only 'Yank' in town. I see them all the time. And french people. So there. I live here and find the whole place amazing. I would suggest Hertfordshire as a place to visit. That's where I come from. IOt's amazing, quiet and befitting for a partying holiday too. I hope to visit my friend Olga in Sweden soon, so I look forward to comparing the two.
Thanks for a useful page. Lots of Love, Amelia.

I spent six months in the UK (lived in Doncaster. Was fun being the only "Yank" in town...)- really enjoyed it. Explored a lot of the country (never went into London though, other than changing planes at Heathrow). The locals were wonderfull (got teased a lot about my accent - I don't have one! lol), the scenery is fantastic and learned a lot of history.
I miss it, but on the other hand, there's no place like home...

England has some of the most lovely countryside in all of Europe. The Cotswolds is absolutely the most scenic and tranquil places on earth. I absolutely adore my stay there each year.

My relatives came from Lancashire dating as far back as the early 1600. One of the passangers aboard the Mayflower was William Latham. I understand there are several Lathams still living in Lancashire. I am planning a visit to England in 2005 and I am interested in seeing some of the areas where my relatives came.
