Announcing Early Enrollment for the new Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program!

If you're ready to apply for Early Enrollment in the new Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program, request a free enrollment kit at no obligation by May 1, 2002.  Call toll-free:  1-800-LTC-FEDS (1-800-582-3337) or visit our web site at www.LTCFEDS.com.  Early enrollment options are limited.  payroll or annuity deduction is available only during Open Season, which begins July 1, 2002.

The FLTCIP is not part of the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program or Medicare, which provide health insurance. It's a separate, completely new program providing long term care insurance.

Who's Eligible to Apply?

The following people are eligible to apply for the Federal Long Term Care Insurance Program:

  • Federal and Postal employees and retirees
  • Member and retirees of the uniformed services
  • Spouses, adult children and adult stepchildren of the groups above
  • Parents, parents-in-law and step-parents of Federal and Postal employees and uniformed services members

Most annuitants and their spouses will be eligible to apply. Successful applicants must show they are insurable by answering a number of questions about their health.
