Governor's Annual Picnic:
Governor Frank Murkowski and Lt. Governor Loren Leman serve some of the thousands of guests who turned out at the Governor's Picnic in Anchorage in 2003. The 2004 Governor's Picnics will take place Saturday, July 24 from noon to 4 p.m. on the Ninth Avenue Park Strip in downtown Anchorage, and on Sunday, July 25 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m at Pioneer Park in Fairbanks. The events will feature free food, games, prizes, exhibits and musical entertainment for all comers.
