The recovery rate of missing children in South Africa went up from 82% in 1989 to 88% at the end of 2002. This improvement can directly be attributed to the establishment of the South African website on missing children. The biggest reason being the easy access to information on missing children for the public and the local press in South Africa. Newspapers such as the Sowetan, The Star, Beeld and many others makes regular use of this website to publish information on missing children and their photographs.
We therefore wish to convey our heartfelt gratitude to Computer Associates and the National Centre for Missing and Expoited Children, and many others, who made this website possible through their kind support.
For those of you accessing this site just the following:- Please make use of the facility to print out posters of our missing children and display them at your premises, by doing this you will participate in achieving our goal namely to help our children find their way back home, and thus create a better future for our future:-
