IndyCar Series drivers Tomas Scheckter, Darren Manning and Townsend Bell and Red Bull Cheever Racing owner Eddie Cheever Jr. will participate at 10 a.m. (EST) Aug. 6 in a golf outing in connection with the Brickyard 400. NASCAR Nextel Cup Series drivers Dale Jarrett, Elliott Sadler, Jeff Burton and Kurt Busch will play alongside the IndyCar Series drivers in the inaugural Brickyard 400 Golf Challenge on Holes 7-10 of the Brickyard Crossing Golf Course in Indianapolis. Also playing are eight media personalities, including NBC NASCAR analyst and former NASCAR champion Benny Parsons. Holes 7-10 of the Brickyard Crossing are four of the most unique holes in the world of golf because they are located in the infield of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway oval. The eight drivers and eight members of the media will comprise four four-person teams, playing in a scramble format. Each golfer also will have one opportunity to win $1 million by scoring a hole-in-one on the 193-yard, par-3 hole No. 7. A fan in attendance also will be randomly selected to get one shot at hitting a hole-in-one and winning the $1 million prize.
