World Heavy Weight boxing champion (1968-྅) Smokin' Joe Frazier spent the day in the ARCA RE/MAX Series garage at Pocono before greeting each and every driver during driver introductions. Afterwards, Frazier celebrated with 5-time series champions Larry Clement and Frank Kimmel. In addition to Frazier's World Heavy Weight titles, the native Philadelphian won the Olympic Gold Medal in 1964. During his long, illustrious career, he pumped out 32 wins, 4 losses and 1 draw. His record also includes 27 knock-outs. Frazier beat Muhammad Ali March 8, 1971 at Madison Square Gardens.

LONG POND, Pa. - ARCA RE/MAX Series rookie Ryan Hemphill, in the TRIMSPA Dodge, captured the Pork Pole Award at Pocono Raceway Thursday afternoon for Saturday’s Giant 200. It was his fifth career pole.
