As senior vice president/corporate controller and acting chief financial officer for Caesars Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE: CZR), Wes Allison is responsible for corporate finance, tax, treasury, accounting, internal audit, insurance, investor relations and the company’s long-term financial strategy.

Prior to being named a senior corporate officer in 2002, he worked as vice president and controller. He has been a finance executive with the company since it was created as Park Place Entertainment Corporation in December 1998.

Before joining Park Place, Allison served as corporate controller for Las Vegas-based Station Casinos, where he directly supervised financial matters involved in opening new properties.

Allison began his professional career in 1985, as a staff auditor with the public accounting firm of Arthur Andersen. He left Andersen ten years later as an experienced manager.
A native of Las Vegas, Allison is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting.

He resides in Las Vegas with his wife, Brenda, and four children.
