Pack Stations in nearly
every major canyon of the Eastern Sierra offer hour-long horsebacks
rides, half-day and all-day excursions, and custom multi-day
or week-long pack trips. Let an experienced guide show you
the real mountains of the West. Full-service trips complete
with camp and cooking needs are available, or one-way trips
will drop you at your requested destination. Pack outfits
are located in Independence,
Big Pine, Bishop, Mammoth, June Lake, and Bridgeport.
You can also get horses in Mono
County, Kings Canyon
and the Western Sierras, or inside Yosemite.
You will need to book this well in advance and call the various
pack station outfitters to find out their specific rides and
costs.

Full Service Trip: All gear is provided except sleeping
and personal.
Base Camps: A set camp is used as an outpost and each
adventure starts from the camp
Trail Rides: Different itineraries, interests, and
lengths of stay.
Spot Pack Trips: They ride you up into the mountains.
You bring all your own gear, and the packers bring you back
when you are done.
Scenic Horseback Riding & Fishing Trail Rides:
Guided horseback riding is available by the full day or part
of a day. Advance reservations are necessary. Private parties
accommodated.
