Museums keeps furnishings, nuptial contract, vestments, silverware...giving
evidence of the strong presence of Jewish community in Venice within the
XVII century and the XIX century. Besides, it's possible to visit 3 of the
5 synagogue situated among the "Campo of Ghetto Nuovo" and "Campo
of Ghetto Vecchio".
Opening
hours: Open every day except Saturday and Jewish Holidays, December
25, January 1, May 1. From October 1-May 31 open 10:00-16:30. From June
1-September 30 open 10:00 -19:00. Guided tour of the Synagogues (every
half hour beginning at10:30). |

The wonderful Romanesque cloister of Saint Apollonia introduces to the rooms of the museums which keeps vestments, paintings, sculptures and furnishings coming from the suppression of Venetian churches and convents. Opening
hours:10,30/12,30, closed on Sunday.

In few rooms it's possible to admire the large production of Greek, Cretan and regional icons from the fourteenth century to eighteenth century. Most of these icons were brought to Venice during last centuries other have been painted directly here by Cretan artists. Opening
