Leader in Sports Industry Web Sites Grows through Internal Promotions and New Hires
CHARLOTTE, NC (May 14, 2003) – RMG3, Inc., a leader in web site development and the provision of new media services for the sports industry since 1998 announced several personnel promotions and new hires today.
Stephen Anderson, who has been with the company since 1999, was promoted from Director of Technology to Vice President of Technology. Anderson, a graduate of Wake Forest University, will lead the company’s programming and information technology departments.
Angie Kippenbrock, who has been with the company for a year, serving as Store Manager, has been promoted to Director of E-commerce. A graduate of Murray State University, formerly employed by Action Performance Company, Kippenbrock will be responsible for the servicing of all of the company’s merchandising clients.
William Creech, who has been with the company for two years, most recently as Senior Graphic Designer, has been promoted to Creative Director. Creech is a graduate of UNC Charlotte. Prior to joining RMG3, he was a graphic designer with iXL. Creech will be responsible for leading the creative process for all RMG3 clients.
Thanks to the hard work of employees such as Anderson, Creech and Kippenbrock, RMG3 is a profitable private company that is financially stable and 98% employee-owned. In addition to these promotions, RMG3 also recently made two new key hires. Luiz Muzzi was hired in to the position of Senior Project Manager. Muzzi, a graduate of Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro has also received two Masters degrees: from the University of Massachusetts (Sport Management) and the University of Florida (Computer Science). Before joining RMG3, Muzzi served as a Venture Relationship Manager and Account/Project Manager for TWIinteractive, IMG’s internet arm, responsible for clients such as the US Soccer Federation and Brazilian Soccer Federation. At RMG3, Muzzi leads the company’s team of Project Managers and is the primary relationship manager with its WUSA clients.
Laban Stoke was hired in to the position of Lead Programmer. Stoke, a former Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, most recently worked with the E-Commerce team at Charlotte-based Bank of America and was instrumental in implementing new technologies that are currently being used as the framework for all of the bankofamerica.com sites. Stoke is an expert in ColdFusion, ASP, SQL Server, Oracle, XML, C#, Java, and Flash technologies.
