The original Tape-Ease™ was created over 3 years ago by one of four partners. He is a Landscape/Irrigation professional, who often finds himself on jobsites working solo, or with a crew that is never "standing around" waiting for something to do (like run over and hold the end of a tape measure 15 times a day while he measures 20ft sticks of PVC). The other three partners, who have been pivotal in the development of Tape-Ease™, have a combined level of experience in the fields of engineering, building, and carpentry, of over 70 years.

Every one of the four partners has guided a number of projects (large and small) through to completion. They all live in the Mountains of the Southwest, in very fast growing urban areas, where time truly is money.

Four "Everyday working people" developed Tape-Ease™ specifically for other everyday working people. The Tape-Ease™ pair was streamlined over a 3-year period, by the four partners, whose various responsibilities and job applications have allowed for rigorous field-tests, and object/condition modifications allowing for the Tape-Ease™ "pair" to truly have a place on the jobsite, and in the tool box of the weekend "do-it-your-selfer", as well.
