Diversity Leadership & Training

Compuware's commitment to diversity starts at the top of our organization. Compuware leaders are dedicated to creating an inclusive work environment in which employees are trained to appreciate the many rewarding dimensions of diversity.

Leadership

Compuware's Board of Directors

Compuware has "one of the most diverse boards in America," according to Compuware Chairman and CEO Peter Karmanos, Jr. Our board consists of 12 members including four females (two African-Americans, two Caucasians) and eight males (one African-American, one East Indian and six Caucasians).

Diversity and Community Relations Subcommittee Formed

The Board of Directors recently formed a Diversity and Community Relations subcommittee, chaired by Dennis W. Archer, a member of Compuware's Board of Directors. Mr. Archer and his subcommittee are responsible for formulating strategies for Compuware's future diversity objectives.

Director of Diversity and Business Development Named

Compuware reaffirmed its commitment to diversity by naming Marlin Wilson-Threatt as the company's first Director of Diversity and Business Development. She is responsible for partnering with the Compuware Diversity and Community Relations subcommittee to execute the company's diversity strategies. Areas of focus in Fiscal Year 2004 are to execute new strategies related to recruitment, retention, training and business development.

Training

Compuware requires all managers to attend its Managing Inclusion training program, an eight-hour seminar that teaches supervisors how all employees are directly connected to Compuware's organizational strength and competitiveness.

All non-supervisory Compuware employees will also receive diversity training during Fiscal Year 2004.
