This is a large religious web site which promotes religious freedom, tolerance and diversity as positive cultural values.  The site contains over 2,500 essays and menus.  But it is very different from almost all other religious sites:
bulletWe do not promote our own religious beliefs.  We can't because we are a multi-faith group.  We try to explain the full range of religious belief in North America, from Asatru to Christianity to Zoroastrianism.
bulletWe report on controversial religious topics, from abortion access to equal rights and protections for homosexuals and bisexuals including same-sex marriage (our most popular topic).  We try to explain all sides to each topic fairly and objectively.
You will find much in this site that you will agree with, and much to disagree with. Enjoy!

SOME THOUGHTS:

Religious Tolerance means
 to extend religious freedom to people of all religions, even though you disagree with their beliefs and/or practices.

Religious freedom means to have the right to
believe, worship and witness;
change one's belief or religion; and
join together and express one's belief

Web site news:

bulletWe would like to thank an anonymous donor
bulletWe lost track of an essay. We were in the middle of editing a file, were interrupted, and now cannot recall which one it was. If you spot a partly completed menu or essay, please inform us by Email.  :-(
bulletWe now have a part-time "Person Friday" who handles much of our administrative load. This frees the rest of us to do more research and write more essays. The downside of this is that our costs have increased significantly. If you can make a one-time donation via Credit card, PayPal, or check -- or donate a small amount each month -- we would really appreciate it.
bulletAs of 2004-JUN-15 we have 2,536 essays and menus online. We are systematically reviewing and upgrading ten a day until the entire site is covered. This will reduce our capacity to write new essays, but will increase the quality of our existing essays.
