Day 01
Early morning, depart by flight to Sandakan. Proceed
to jetty for a boat ride to Sukau. En route, visit the
Gomantong Cave, which is known for the harvesting of
Swifts' nests, a Chinese delicacy. In the afternoon,
take a leisure boat ride along the tributary of the
Kinabatangan River to spot the Proboscis monkeys and
other wildlife. Overnight at the Sukau.
Day 02
After breakfast, depart for Ox-Bow Lake for a trekking
on nature trail. This area is rich with its flora and
fauna. Overnight at the Sukau.
Day 03
Depart for Sukau by boat, passing the riverine
villages and mangrove forest. Then return to Sandakan
for overnight stay at Sabah Hotel or similar.
Day 04
Visit the Sepilok Orang Utan Sanctuary to see the
feeding of semi-wild Orang Utans. The Visit is
followed by a brief walk into the forest. Then
transfer to the airport.
