Pro Bowl Diary: What a game!
February 9, 2004

Friday
I was fortunate enough to be chosen for an appearance at one of the big fitness centers here in town. We were there for two hours and I guarantee you there were 30-50 people who said to me, "We were really rooting for you guys and wish you would have won." I even met about 15 people who were from the Carolinas. It's so great to meet Carolinians and Panthers fans so far away from home. We're having a really good time. This morning the Pro Bowl Festival opens. It's at one of the big parks here in Honolulu. Should be fun!

Saturday
We spent Friday night at the Pro Bowl Block Party, which was an amazing time. It was like the grand opening of the Pro Bowl. We got to meet a lot of the fans and perform there. What a fantastic event. Saturday morning we got up and went to Aloha Stadium for rehearsal, which was really cool. While rehearsing, we took pictures left and right. A lot of the players were there as well as lots of fans already trying to get autographs. It was pretty hot as we practiced down on the field and got our routines together. After a good rehearsal, we went back to our hotel to get ready for more appearances that took place throughout the day. We also went to the Concert at the Park, with K.C. and the Sunshine Band, and got to perform right before them as a preview of what was to come at the Pro Bowl.

Sunday
The game was so exciting. It was about 90 degrees on the field, but the heat did not bother us because we were having so much fun!. There were a lot of Panthers fans there and they were all screaming, "Hello," to me. It was the experience of a lifetime. I cannot thank my teammates enough for giving me the opportunity to be here. I'm so proud to represent the Carolina Panthers. It just makes me feel good being a part of the organization. The other cheerleaders I met here are absolutely fabulous. I can't say enough about each and every one of them. I have 24 new friends. This experience has been simply awesome and has made me feel even more proud about what I do as an NFL Cheerleader. Aloha!
