Straddling the equator with the Indian Ocean to the east and Pacific Ocean to the west, Indonesia boasts the most diverse waters in the world. Over 3,000 fish species and 450 species of coral, steep walls, deep water trenches, underwater volcanic mountains, World War II wrecks, and an endless variety of macro life - set around over 13,500 tropical and often deserted islands. You name it, all of this makes Bali, Komodo, Sulawesi and Irian Jaya excellent islands for a diving adventure holiday.
Diving Season
You can dive in Indonesia all year round. Overall, the best diving conditions exist from April to December, as many provinces have a rainy season from January to March.
