Private Domains

You'll look like you spent big bucks on a load balanced, highly available datacenter, super fast SQL Database Software, security certificates, software licensing and more, all served up via your domain name.

The fact that your Affiliate Program is managed by My Affiliate Program Software will be virtually undetectable to your Affiliates, customers, and other visitors.

How Does It Work?
With the Private Domain Option, instead of having your links and administration pages pointed to "MyAffiliateProgram.com/ yourdirectory/yoursoftware", your entire Affiliate Program can be hosted at a domain name similar to your own.

We'll purchase a private domain name and a corresponding security certificate for use by your MyAP Software. We'll create web services for this domain name, and point DNS for this domain to the web service dedicated for the private domain, hosted in our datacenter.

We'll edit your My Affiliate Program Software to reflect your software's new domain name.

An example:
If you currently own www.abc.com, we can setup www.abcaffiliate.com to host your Affiliate Program.

All of your links will point to www.abcaffiliate.com and all of your Affiliates will login to their administration pages at www.abcaffiliate.com.

Your Affiliate Links
With the normal setup of MyAP Software, your affiliate links point to your software at "myaffiliateprogram.com/ yourdirectory/yoursoftware", to process the click and direct the visitor to the appropriate entry page at your site.

But, with the private domain option, your Affiliates will link visitors to this same software at your private domain instead. (Links may also be pointed to your normal domain name using the "Your Link" Free Option in the standard setup of MyAP.)

An example:
Without the Private Domain, your Affiliate links will look something like this:
http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com/ u/userid/t.asp?id=101

But, with the Private Domain option, your links will look like this:
http://www.abcaffiliate.com/ t.asp?id=101

Your Affiliates' Administration Site
In the normal setup of My Affiliate Program™ Software, your Affiliates log into their Administration Site at "myaffiliateprogram.com/ yourdirectory/yourloginpage". With the Private Domain option, however, your Affiliates log into your private domain.

An example:
Without the Private Domain, your Affiliate Administration Site will be found at:
http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com/ u/userid/login.htm

But, with the Private Domain option, your links will look like this:
http://www.abcaffiliate.com/login.htm

Your "Image Source"
In the normal setup of My Affiliate Program, your marketing material's "image source" (where an HTML Page must look to find images), is pointed to your software at "myaffiliateprogram.com/ yourdirectory/yoursoftware". (The image source must point here in order to process impressions, so you know when and where each affiliate displays your marketing material.) With the Private Domain option, your image source will look to your Private Domain, instead.

An example:
Without the Private Domain, your marketing material "Image Source" will look something like this:
img=http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com/ u/userid/showban.asp?id=101&ban;=banner1.gif

But, with the Private Domain option, your links will look like this:
img=http://www.abcaffiliate.com/ showban.asp?id=101&ban;=banner1.gif
