The lodge itself is magnificently appointed with quiet lounges, observation decks and a sunny pool area where you might be visited by a family of warthog, a delicate red duiker or a pair of purple-crested loeries.
Accommodation at Zululand Tree Lodge is offered in 24 luxury stilted 'tree houses' set in a fever tree forest. The rooms are set in an arc either side of the main lodge and offer total privacy.
The main lodge is the focal point of Zululand Tree Lodge. The wide open deck offers excellent views over a water-hole frequented by many of the animals of the reserve and the covered lounge area makes for a wonderful refuge from the midday sun.
