Galway is Ireland's fastest growing city combining all the modern facilities with plenty of old world west of Ireland charm and is well worth a visit. As you can see from the map Lough Corrib is within walking distance about 1km - Woodlands is also within easy striking distance from the scenic Maam Valley,
Leenan and Clifden. Closer to home in oughterard there is fabulous scenery, with mountains, lakes,
rivers and bogs are only a short walk from Woodlands Guest House.
