Membership is 100% free and only a requirement to access a few new and upcoming features. It is NOT there to harvest emails for spam purposes. As the sole owner of this website I can guarantee you will NOT receive spam from this website, the simple fact is I'd rather be out fishing than creating a load of junk email so don't be afraid to register as a member. More importantly as a member you not only have access to extra features it also gives you an identity rather than being known as an anonymous or guest when posting in the forums.
Spam will not be tolerated on this website, you are welcome to include a signature (via your account) that will be seen at the bottom of your forum posts provided it is within the rules and policy guidelines set out in the forums. You are also encouraged to include a text link or small button (if you operate a website) when you submit news etc. to take credit for your content.
It is my hope to provide and maintain a quality Fishing Directory with an understanding that not all the sites listed are created by website developers. The Fishing Directory consists of Fishing Related Websites that have all been personally checked by me to ensure you don't come across any websites that are of poor quality or have annoying features such as Popup Windows jamming advertising down your throat. Many of the websites listed in this fishing directory are created by professionals in the field of fishing! But still excludes sites with annoying features and breaking the Rules and Guidelines

Fishy Fishing was originally created in 2002 during the more infant stages of my HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) knowledge, I had absolutely no idea it would grow to be so popular and I'm truly honored that so many people visit here seeking their fishing related resources from the quality websites I have personally reviewed before addition to the directory.
I have re-built the website to make it both more user friendly and easier to manage.
On 3rd August I was required to seek special permission from my host to remove the limit on my email server for a short time to allow me to send 850 emails to the websites listed on the old Fishy Fishing website and invite them to re-list on this new website. Many returned errors for invalid email addresses and I can only hope these sites visit and re-list their website here in the near future. Please accept my apologies if you didn't receive this email.
