FanFest Set
In celebration of the 50th annual Mac Tools U.S. Nationals, several special events have been created to enhance the fan experience at the golden anniversary of the most prestigious race on the NHRA POWERade Drag Racing Series schedule.
One of the special events will be the Fanfest, held in the historic Monument Circle in downtown Indianapolis on Wed., Sept. 1 between noon and 2 p.m. The Fanfest will feature plenty of activities to satisfy every motorsports fan. “Big Daddy” Don Garlits will highlight a cast of some of the top drivers in drag racing attending the event. The drivers will participate in an autograph session between 1-2 p.m. Scheduled to be on hand along with Garlits are Top Fuel pilots Brandon Bernstein, Doug and Scott Kalitta, David Grubnic and Cory McClenathan, Funny Car’s Del Worsham and Tim Wilkerson, Pro Stock’s Jason Line and Pro Stock Bike’s Shawn Gann. The POWERade interactive display also will be on hand so fans can see how much power they really have and take their winner’s circle photos.
