BBB AUTO LINE Dispute Resolution Specialists

The Council of Better Business Bureaus, a non-profit organization, has openings from time to time for qualified individuals to staff its national dispute resolution program, BBB AUTO LINE. Dispute Resolution Specialists are trained to assist consumers and automotive manufacturers impartially in the resolution of warranty disputes, following the BBB Rules of Arbitration in How BBB AUTO LINE Works.

Prospective candidates for these staff positions are interested in and/or have a background in consumer affairs, customer relations, dispute resolution, legal affairs, or policy studies. Candidates are generally college graduates with an employment history in customer service.

Individuals should possess an ability to work under pressure to complete cases within certain time lines. Dispute Resolution Specialists are self-motivated and need only minimal supervision. The position requires strong analytical skills and an ability to interpret complex state lemon laws.

CBBB offers a starting salary of $34,290, medical, dental and vision plans, and a 401K plan. We are recruiting only for the Arlington, Virginia office. It is located one block from the Ballston Metro.
