Sporting Clays
LANDT FARMS
LANDT FARMS Sporting Clays is a family owned and operated shooting facility. Ellwood Landt started the sporting clays about 10 years ago. At the beginning of 2003 he retired from operating the course and handed the reins over to his daughter, Sally A. Scott; her husband, George F. Tippner runs and maintains the course and sets the targets. LANDT FARMS Sporting Clays operates seven days a week by appointment, year-round to provide sporting clays and five stand shooting, plus our clubhouse and pavilion make a great location to schedule a special group or corporate event. Wednesdays is our "Lunch Bunch", lunch starts at about 12 PM; start shooting before lunch or after lunch. Some of our guests do both, they shoot before and after lunch. What away to have a free lunch and being able to get away to "break some clays" mid week. Come every Wednesday for some homemade lunch specials that she makes up, and for dessert is a full pan of mouth watering brownies that Dolly Landt still makes. Some of the shooter just show up to have some brownies. We offer wheelchair accommodations at our five stand, sporting clays course, clubhouse, pavilion, and rest rooms. We feature regular shooting schools through the NSCA, which features top NSCA certified instruction. Instructor levels include: Youth Instructor, Level l. Level ll, and Level lll, and teaches shooters of all ages and skill levels, including women and youth, beginner, intermediate, and advanced shooters. We can also facilitate:

scheduling a shoot/PRICES To schedule a shoot please call, fax or e-mail to make an appointment. We are open 7 days a week, by appointment. Our hours of operation are 8AM to sunset, this is dependant upon the time of year. The course takes about 1-2 hours dependant upon the quantity of the shooting squad and experience of the shooters. Most of the stations are electronic, "push button". A trapper with a "four wheeler" will pull the traps for you and you can put your gear in the four wheeler as you go about the course. Shoot 25, 50, 100 or 600 targets, we can accommodate your shooting needs. Round of sporting clays, 100 birds-$30 per person (shooter providing own gun and ammo) Round of 5 stand (25 birds) -$6.00 per person (shooter providing own gun and ammo) Gun Rental $10.00 per gun, per person We have 20 gauge and 12 gauge ammunition for sale.
Youth shooting program Eastern Washington Youth Outdoor Education Foundation was started just a few years ago. We are the first in the continental United States to offer such a program. The state of Alaska was the very first state in the Union to start. The first group of Youth instruction coaches were taught by the instructors from Alaska. Last year we are proud to have sent 5 of our youths to the Washington State Tournament. We use 12 and 20 gauge semi automatic shotguns using special low recoil ammo. Gun rental is free and the youths buy or provide their own ammo. Of course vision and hearing protection is mandatory. The shotguns vary in lengths to accommodate the different body structures of the individual youths. The coaches check for gun fit, instruct about safety, teaching kids gun mount/movement, how and when to break the clays, how to problem solve why they aren't breaking their clays and how to correct their mistakes. We have several happy and very dedicated youths in our program. UPDATES New for this year: We now offer a "Red-Green" course. Our shooting stations are now marked with Red or Green identification for shooters who want to select or choose "easy or hard targets". Our trapper will take you to those stations or if you want to go out on your own. We want you to have a great rewarding experience here at Landt Farms.
