Kansas Speedway will be in its inaugural season in 2001. The Kansas speedway will host a variety of motorsports events including the NASCAR Winston Cup and Busch series, Craftsman Truck Series, and the Indy Racing Northern Light Series.

Access to the speedway will be unparalleled in the racing industry. Kansas Speedway is adjacent to two interstate highways and an excellent State and Local roadway network. Additionally, the roadway infrastructure being constructed to move traffic in, out and around the facility includes over 55 - lane miles of roadway.

Kansas Speedway is strategically located near the intersection of I-435 and I-70 in Kansas City, Kansas so that it is easily accessible from all directions. It is the largest intersection in the State of Kansas and will allow for 12 traffic lanes to access the facility.

Kansas Speedway will have seating for 75,000 people in the first year, and plans in the future are to increase seating for up to 150,000 people.
