Allied's Medical Transcription program combines
text and technology to create a comprehensive learning experience!
We include everything you’ll need including textbooks, complete
with practice exercises, sample reports, transcription tips and
terminology reviews. In addition, the accompanying CD-ROM features
transcription exercises with audio dictation from actual doctors,
not professional vocal actors. We also include Mosby’s Medical,
Nursing and Allied Health Dictionary. Students will transcribe
the dictated words of the physicians with a wide range of tones
and accents for a variety of medical specialties.
As part of the program we include a professional foot pedal to
control the pace of dictation. This beneficial piece of equipment
will help your transcription speed by allowing you to keep your
fingers on the keyboard at all times!
Allied Schools offers a Medical Transcription program is designed
for busy adults and is available to our students two ways: Online
or Traditional Correspondence. Either way you choose to study we
will send you all of the course materials so you have the entire
hard copy of the program including all books for future help in
