Summit County, Colorado is located in the heart of the Colorado Rockies. With Denver approximately one hour to the east on Interstate 70, Summit County residents enjoy the splendor of mountain wilderness and the convenience of nearby metropolitan services.

Summit County is home to four world-class ski resorts. Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone Resort offer thousands of acres of year-round recreation. The Blue River, Snake River and Ten-Mile Creek all feed Summit County’s two large reservoirs, Lake Dillon and Green Mountain Reservoir. Enjoy sailing, kayaking, canoeing, fishing and motorized water sports in these Summit County waters.
