About Pain

Farabloc is not a cure for chronic pain; nor is it a substitute for professional medical attention. However, research and the personal experience of many satisfied users indicates that it is a very effective way to reduce the impact and debilitating effects of many forms of chronic and phantom pain as well as other forms of physical and psychological discomfort.

Reduce reliance on intrusive chemical & other conventional pain killers

Pain varies in intensity. It can be a mild ache or a debilitating side effect of injury or amputation that leads to a significant decrease in the quality and enjoyment of life as well as greater dependence on chemical medication and other remedies.

What you should know about pain and the people who treat it

It is generally accepted that:

  • 90% of all diseases may be associated with pain
  • 65 million Americans suffer painful disabilities at any given time
  • $120 billion are spent each year on or because of pain
  • 61% of medical directors of pain centres are anaesthesiologists
  • Of all pain practitioners, fewer than 10% are proficient in more than 8 out of 130+ diagnostic or therapeutic treatment procedures relative to pain
  • 75% or more of patients in hospitals hurt and suffer more than they should.

Only you know how much pain you are in...
...and how much you can tolerate
.

Doctors and nurses tend to underestimate the severity of pain. The person with the pain is the one who knows the pain best. Don't try to hide or minimize it. Do consider the best way to deal with it by developing an acceptable combination of physical, pharmaceutical and naturopathic remedies designed to minimize its effect on your enjoyment and quality of life.

"Those who do not feel pain
seldom think that it is felt"
Samuel Johnson
