Lance Burton, a "magician's magician," is part of a vanishing breed. See him work wonders by booking your tickets today online. Just use the booking tool at the left of your screen to reserve your seat for this master illusionist.

Whether exhibiting his twist on a classic trick or making a full-size convertible vanish into thin air, Lance Burton is the kind of guy you want to keep your eye on. Magic fans have had plenty of opportunities to do just that. Burton's career spans in excess of a staggering 11,000 performances, including 3,000 during his current legendary stint at the Monte Carlo.

Burton is revered for his knowledge of the craft's history and his ability to connect with his audience while keeping them scratching their heads in wide-eyed wonder.

Burton's family-friendly performance features doves and showgirls that appear out of nowhere, objects that levitate across the stage, and the master illusionist himself swapping places with assistants in a bit that'll make you believe in teleportation. He's even been known to invite younger audience members on stage to lend a (sleight of) hand.

Fun Facts

Lance Burton performed his 3,000th show on Dec. 29, 2002. Lance simply said, "I'm just happy to be working." Burton will do about another 3,000 shows to complete his 13-year contract with the Mandalay Bay Group.

The illusion that, at age six, inspired Lance Burton to become a magician was called "The Miser's Dream."

Burton entered his first competition as a junior magician at a convention in 1977. He won first prize.

In 1980, Lance Burton became the first winner of the coveted "Gold Medal for Excellence" from the International Brotherhood of Magicians.

For nine years, Burton performed as part of the Las Vegas show Folies Bergere.

In 1982, Burton won the designation "World Champion Magician" by the Federation International Societe de Magic in Lausanne, Switzerland. He was both the first American and the youngest performer to be so honored.
