FSA building Practitioner Panel
Welcome to the Financial Services Practitioner Panel - A statutory body representing the interests of the Financial Services industry.
The main remit of the Panel is to:
  • Provide input to the FSA from the industry in order to help it meet its statutory objectives and comply with the seven principles of good regulation, and
  • Represent the interests of practitioners.

It does not carry out activities on behalf of the FSA, and does not seek to duplicate the work of trade associations.

Latest update
CalendarThe deadline for responses to the Financial Services Practitioner Panel's survey of regulated firms has been extended until 18 August 2004. If your firm has been selected to take part in this research, and if you have not completed the questionnaire that was sent to your CEO/Principal in late June, you have recently been sent a further copy. We would urge you to complete and return this at your earliest convenience. All responses are received and managed independently by the Panel, and are treated in the strictest confidence. The purpose of this important and influential survey is to obtain feedback from the industry on their perception of the FSA's performance in a number of key areas. The findings are then used by the Panel to inform its discussions with the FSA about policy and operational developments, and help shape the regulator's overall efficiency and effectiveness going forward. Please do take the opportunity to provide your views.
