The Boston Harbor Association is a lead proponent in supporting and
advocating for Boston Harbor's Working Port and associated maritime
industry. TBHA has been integral in creating a coalition of port related
users while actively providing outreach and education about the Port of
Boston.

Education Programs
TBHA offers unique and exciting programs for the general public, as well
as organized groups and classes that educate and engender a sense of
stewardship. Each year, these events and programs create opportunities
that bring aspects of the Harbor to life for children and adults.

HarborWalk
Boston's HarborWalk is an inviting public walkway along the waterfront,
with public parks, seating areas, boat ramps, cafes, exhibit areas,
interpretive signage, water transportation facilities, and other public
amenities along the Harbor.

Back to the Beaches
For the first time in more than two decades, the public can now enjoy
greatly restored and enhanced Boston Harbor beaches. The Boston Harbor
Association's work with Department of Conservation and Recreation's "Back to
the Beaches" has been a critical component in the continuing
improvements to local beach water quality and facilities.

Marine Debris Cleanup Project
The Boston Harbor Marine Debris Cleanup Project, initiated and managed by
The Boston Harbor Association, is a unique collaboration of public and
private organizations working together to address the environmental
